✈️ Skyforce Update: GV Prakash Steps In as Music Director After M.M. Keeravani’s Exit

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for a blockbuster 2024 with four big releases. After delivering action with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and an inspiring tale in Sarfira, he’s back next with a comedy, Khel Khel Mein, releasing August 15. But what’s also catching serious attention is Skyforce, a patriotic aerial action thriller set to land on October 2.

In a recent behind-the-scenes shake-up, National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar has officially taken over as the background music director of Skyforce. He replaces Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani, who stepped away from the project due to creative differences with producer Dinesh Vijan. The parting was mutual and respectful, and both are open to working together in the future.

GV Prakash had recently collaborated with Akshay on Sarfira, and their strong creative bond played a major role in bringing him on board for this film. Prakash has already started work and is committed to completing the background score in time for the film’s scheduled release.

Director Sandeep Kewlani recently confirmed that the shooting of Skyforce is complete, sharing a celebratory post and tagging GV Prakash as part of the key crew. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur, and is being co-directed by Abhishek Kapur.

Backed by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Skyforce promises intense drama, high-octane air action, and a compelling storyline. With a fresh soundtrack by GV Prakash and a stellar cast, the film is shaping up to be one of the most unique patriotic thrillers in recent years.
